Thanks to earlier detection, enhanced treatment and ongoing support, survival rates are improving for individuals who have been diagnosed with cancer. In fact, there are more than 11 million cancer survivors in the United States alone.
For these survivors, the battle with cancer may not be entirely over. Cancer survivors often have special health concerns that must be addressed after their initial recovery. If you are a cancer survivor, you may be at risk for recurrence; you may be experiencing complications or related health issues from your treatment and therapy; or you may still be dealing with the social and emotional effects of the disease.
All survivors have a special place at Norton Cancer Institute, where we are dedicated to helping you achieve the quality of life you deserve long after your treatment has ended. Whether survivorship means periodic treatment and testing or long-term remission, Norton Cancer Institute’s Survivorship Program is here to provide the ongoing support you need. |
