From medications and physical therapy to injection therapy to appropriate surgical referrals, patients have access to a comprehensive treatment program within the Norton Healthcare system. If surgery is necessary, physiatrists work with patients and their surgeons before and after surgical procedures.
Treatment may include one or more nonsurgical interventions, such as:

- Aqua therapy

Physiatrists also coordinate patient care with neurologists, spine and orthopaedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, physical and occupational therapists, speech pathologists, psychologists and other health care professionals.
